Dress Code
BACKPACKS & PURSES
- Per CFISD policy, all backpacks and purses must be clear. The maximum size for non-transparent bags that students are permitted to carry during the school day, such as lunch kits, pencil bags and purses, will be 6” x 9”.
SHIRTS & BLOUSES
- Shirts must cover the midriff.
- No inappropriate language or designs
- Shirts/dresses must cover the shoulder, no spaghetti straps allowed.
- No low-cut shirts or cleavage showing.
PANTS/SHORTS/SKORTS/SKIRTS/DRESSES
- Shorts, skorts, skirts and dresses must be mid-thigh length or longer.
- Biker shorts (spandex shorts) are not permitted.
- Pajamas are not permitted.
- Holes in pants or jeans cannot be higher than mid-thigh.
- Pants must be worn at waist (no sagging pants/shorts)
- Bodysuits are not permitted.
SHOES
- Must be worn at all times.
- No house shoes or steel-toe shoes.
- Shoes with laces must be tied.
GROOMING
- Hair must be clean, neat, and well-groomed (cannot cover the eyes)
- Hair styles should not have inappropriate language or designs.
- Facial hair must be neatly trimmed.
MISCELLANEOUS
- ID and grade-level lanyards must be worn at all times.
- No type of head covering, cap, hat, beanie, bandanas, sweatbands, or hair roller may be worn inside the building, except for documented religious or medical reasons.
- Sweaters, cardigans, hoodies, and jackets are considered accessories.
- Students should be in dress code underneath their sweaters, cardigans, hoodies, and jackets.
